A major goal of this History Archive project is provide information on Historic Preservation from the perspective of individual prominent buildings, the historic district commission, other town commissions, the historical society and related town civic groups and non-profit organizations, the State Historic Preservation Office, the Connecticut Preservation Trust, the Connecticut Historical Society and the National Park Service's historic preservation program which administers the National Register of Historic Places.
